Rogue Planets

A Rogue planet is basically a planet floating around in deep space.

This isn't an actual rogue planet, it's just what an artist thinks one could look like.

There is a mission launching on the 30th of August called the Nancy Grace Roman Telescope [A.K.A the NGRT in my own words.]

The NGRT's name is based on ''The mother of the Hubble Space Telescope'' Nancy Grace. The NGRT is going to have a field of view of at least 100x the field of view as Hubble did, potentionally measuring 1 billion galaxies in its lifetime.

Recent research has shown that rogue planets are by far the most common type, outnumbering star-bound worlds by 6 to 1. that means that there are likely trillions of worlds wandering alone across our galaxy.

By finding and studiying these galactic normads, Roman will help us understand more about more about how planetary system form, evolve and break apart.
